It is with great joy and vivid memories that we reflect on our presence at the Material Matters 2025 fair in London. The opportunity to present Polish craftsmanship on an international stage, within such a unique and conscious design context, was a profound milestone for us.

Objects for Contemplation and Modernist Space

From the very beginning, our goal has been to create objects that introduce timeless harmony into interior architecture. We believe that sculptural forms, diverse textures, and absolute material honesty serve human senses, shaping our daily experience of a space while promoting the values of sustainable design. The relocation of this year's festival proved incredibly fortunate for us. The historic, brutalist interiors of the iconic Space House London, dominated by raw concrete, provided a perfect, unpretentious backdrop that allowed our collection to truly resonate.

A Dialogue of Materials in Central London

During the event, we wanted to highlight the unique dialogue between the raw materials that define our brand. At the center of our display were pieces crafted from authentic Polish granite sourced from Strzegom. The monumental Filar console captured attention with its natural, untamed structure. What distinguishes them from mass manufacturing is the expert, manual processing and the deliberate selection of local materials. This approach ensures they retain their primal soul and unique character.

We intentionally contrasted the weight and coolness of stone with the organic warmth of wood. Visitors had the opportunity to closely examine the intricate details of the Brut lounge chair and the sculptural Bryła storage console. We believe the essence of contemporary design lies precisely in the precision of traditional woodworking techniques and a deep respect for matter.

A Domestic Sanctuary in a Gallery Setting

Rather than adopting the sparse, clinical layout typical of standard exhibitions, we chose a distinctly different approach to curation. We styled our area to evoke the warmth, density, and intimacy of a real home space. By thoughtfully arranging a rich multitude of items together, we demonstrated how our pieces interact within a lived environment. We wanted to show that collectible design does not have to be unapproachable. Instead, we created a domestic sanctuary where visitors could experience how our artisanal furniture and smaller everyday objects coexist beautifully, bringing a grounding energy to any interior architecture.

Sensory Experience and Gratitude

The greatest value of the fair, however, came from our interactions with the audience. Observing how architects, designers, and curators from around the world reacted to our projects by exploring the raw edges of the stone or the weave of the upholstery with their hands was incredibly uplifting.

We would like to extend our special thanks to the founders and lead curators of Material Matters, Grant Gibson and William Knight. Thank you for your trust, the invitation, and for creating such a remarkable platform for in depth discussions about the future of design.

Our participation in the 2025 edition reaffirmed our belief that Polish craftsmanship and high quality materials form a universal language, perfectly understood across the globe. We invite you to follow our social media channels, where we regularly share behind the scenes glimpses into the creation of our objects.
